Halo Headlight FAQs
Does a halo kit include new light assemblies?
Halo kits do not include new headlight or fog light assemblies. Halos are installed inside your existing assemblies. However, we have full assemblies with pre-installed halos for many makes and models. These start around $215 for fog lights and at about $550 for headlights for many vehicles but can range up to $2000+ depending on your vehicle and what you would like done. Custom lighting jobs are available. If we don’t have full headlight assemblies on the website, it doesn’t mean we can’t get them for you. There are just far too many to list on our website all the time. Please contact us for details if you don’t see your vehicle.
Do these halos come with a warranty?
Absolutely! Oracle and LED Concepts products are backed by the best warranty in the industry and are guaranteed to last a lifetime. Just contact us if you ever need to place a warranty claim.
Should I add a remote to my purchase?
If you are purchasing LED or Plasma halos, consider adding a remote to your halo setup. Oracle’s multifunction remotes are wireless and allow you to turn your halos on and off, dim, strobe, and sweep. They have a 100 foot range. LED Concept's products are almost exclusively ColorMORPH color changing lights that require remotes. Most of the LED Concepts products have color changing remotes as an add-on option, but they are required.
How will I switch colors on the dual-color halos?
The dual-color LED halos come with a switch that allows you to change from color to color. Add a dual-channel multifunction remote control to your purchase if you would like more functionality than a simple switch.
Can I get halos if there isn’t a kit for my vehicle on your site?
Possibly! Send us a chat or email and we can double check to see if there is a kit for you. If Oracle hasn't made a halo kit for your vehicle yet but you are still interested in halos you can consider purchasing aftermarket headlights from a popular company since Oracle typically does (but not always) have a halo kit for those.
Can I use halos instead of my daytime running lights (DRLs)?
Yes, but check with your local authorities before you install halos and disable your factory DRLs to make sure your setup is legal.
Will you install my halos if I send you my headlights?
At this time, we do not facilitate installations into your existing stock headlights.
Where can I get halos installed?
Check with your local custom car shops first. An installation professional who is familiar with halos is ideal since they will take less time to install them (and charge you less!) but halos can be installed by many people and many customers who are comfortable working on cars even complete the installation themselves.
Which remote do Oracle's ColorSHIFT Halos come with?
All Oracle ColorSHIFT Headlight Halo kits from NFC Performance include the Oracle 2.0 Deluxe Infrared remote. Just get in touch if you'd like another option and we'll be happy to get it for you. ColorSHIFT fog light kits do not come with a remote but can be added to your purchase.
Which remote do LED Concepts ColorMORPH Halos come with?
Trick question- They do not come with a remote. You do need to have a remote to run these lights and remotes are as little as $57. If you want some pretty incredible power, check out the bluetooth remote that runs from your smartphone! We could have included remotes, but we wanted to make upgrading to whichever kind of remote you want super easy.
